M24LR16E-R çift arayüzlü elektriksel olarak silinebilir programlanabilir EEPROM hafızaya sahip bir üründür. I2C arayüz özelliklidir. VCCgüç kaynağıyla çalışır. Alınan taşıyıcı elektromanyetik dalgalarla desteklenmiş temassız bir hafıza görevi de görür.
M24LR16E-R aynı zamanda enerji hasatı yapan bir analog çıkışıdır, tıpkı hem RF yazım modunda hem de RF meşgul modundaki kullanıcı tarafından konfigüre edilebilir dijital çıkışlar gibi.
