TDK CGAE Series Multilayer Ceramic Chip Capacitors (MLCCs) are low equivalent series inductance (ESL), automotive grade flip type capacitors. These MLCCs offer low Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR) and reduced impedance through wider and shorter current route. The CGAE series uses reverse geometry termination type structure that is 90° rotation of electrode on both vertical and horizontal terminations. These MLCCs feature small and high-performance Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) components.
The CGAE series MLCCs exhibit good attenuation characteristic in wide bandwidth. These MLCCs are very effective for the decoupling use. The CGAE series MLCCs are useful for EMC countermeasure and decoupling in autonomous driving system, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Electronic Control Units (ECUs) etc.
